This article analyzes the role of the industrial sector in the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, its share in
GDP, structural composition, and development trends. Based on statistical indicators, the study investigates key industrial
branches such as metallurgy, mechanical engineering, chemical, food, construction, and medical industries. It highlights
the dynamics of industrial production growth, the expansion of production capacities, and changes in labor productivity.
The concluding section provides proposals to enhance economic efficiency in the industrial sector and deepen structural
reforms.
