THE ROLE OF THE UZBEK LANGUAGE IN THE DIGITAL AGE

This article examines the current state and development prospects of the Uzbek language in the context of
the global digital economy. It analyzes the important aspects facing European languages: the widespread use of certain
languages in interfaces and content, limited linguistic support from large IT corporations, and the problem of the “digital
divide” between generations. The article also analyzes Uzbekistan’s state programs for the digitalization of languages and
proposes paths for the further development of language technologies
