Mazkur maqolada mintaqaviy iqtisodiyotning diversifikatsiyasi va raqobatbardoshligi tushunchalarining nazariy
hamda amaliy jihatlari tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqotda diversifikatsiyaning mintaqaviy iqtisodiyotni barqaror rivojlantirish, iqtisodiy
xavf-xatarlarni kamaytirish, yangi ish o‘rinlari yaratish va innovatsion faollikni oshirishdagi roli yoritilgan. Shuningdek,
mintaqaviy raqobatbardoshlikning asosiy determinantlari, jumladan, makroiqtisodiy muhit, institutsional sharoitlar, inson
kapitali, klasterlar va innovatsiyalar tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqot natijalari diversifikatsiya va raqobatbardoshlik o‘rtasida o‘zaro
bog‘liqlik mavjudligini ko‘rsatadi. Xususan, strategik jihatdan to‘g‘ri yo‘naltirilgan diversifikatsiya mintaqalarning uzoq
muddatli raqobatbardoshligini mustahkamlashi, yuqori raqobatbardoshlik esa yangi iqtisodiy yo‘nalishlarni rivojlantirish
imkoniyatini kengaytirishi asoslab berilgan. O‘zbekiston mintaqalari uchun “bog‘liq diversifikatsiya” modeli eng istiqbolli
yondashuv sifatida baholangan.
