Abstract

Energy security refers to the reliable availability of energy resources at affordable prices and
is a fundamental component of national security and economic stability. In the context of global crises and
geopolitical change, energy security gains heightened importance, as disruptions such as armed conflicts,
economic recessions, and public health emergencies can significantly threaten energy supplies worldwide.
This article examines how these crises, together with emerging renewable energy trends, reshape traditional
oil and gas production and global energy security strategies, highlighting the need for integrated policies that
combine fossil fuel management with a low-carbon transition
