Abstract

The article deals with the actual problem of cadastral assessment of lands and land resources in the Republic
of Kazakhstan. The author highlights the problems of soil degradation and desertification and regulation of land relations,
land surveying and cadastral works. The article provides statistical data on the area of land resources in the Republic
of Kazakhstan, and also covers the topic of special legal regime of land protection. Advantages and disadvantages of
existing methods of solving this problem of cadastral assessment of lands are given.
