Barriers to tourism infrastructure development in Uzbekistan: a critical analysis

Uzbekistan has made considerable progress in the promotion of tourism, but infrastructure development
support is still faced with serious challenges. This article describes the concrete reasons that are hindering infrastructure
development in the tourism industry, including limited investment, policy gaps, and logistical issues. Using up-to-date
information and academic studies, it reports on what is currently stifling these developments and shows the areas to
prioritize to potentialize tourism.
