Ushbu maqolada shaharlarda va tabiat zonalarida joylashgan turistik destinatsiyalarning sig‘imini baholash
metodikasi ilmiy asosda yoritilgan. Turistik destinatsiya sig‘imi – bu ma’lum bir hududda turistlar soni ortgan taqdirda ham
ekologik barqarorlik, iqtisodiy samaradorlik va madaniy-ijtimoiy muvozanatni ta’minlay oladigan imkoniyatlar majmuasidir.
Maqolada ushbu sig‘imni aniqlashda iqtisodiy, ekologik va madaniy-ijtimoiy ko‘rsatkichlarni o‘z ichiga olgan integral
yondashuv taklif etiladi. Samarqand, Buxoro va Chimyon misolida sayyohlar oqimini boshqarish va hudud resurslaridan
oqilona foydalanish imkoniyati tahlil qilinadi
