This article explores innovative pathways to sustainable tourism development in Uzbekistan. Tourism is one of
the country’s fastest-growing sectors, but it faces challenges such as pressure on heritage sites, dependence on shortstay
regional visitors, and limited use of green transport. The study highlights the need for approaches that balance
economic, social, and environmental goals. Two key pathways are proposed: integrated destination planning with digital
tools, and sustainability-oriented infrastructure supported by regional cooperation. These strategies can guide Uzbekistan
toward a tourism model that protects culture, supports communities, and ensures long-term, balanced growth
