The article discusses the possibilities of combining recreational resources and ecotourism potential in
Uzbekistan. The economic and social significance of the effective use of sanatorium-resort facilities, recreation areas
and natural areas in the process of sustainable development is analyzed. The results of the study show that combining
ecotourism with recreational opportunities contributes to the creation of new tourism products, diversification of regional
tourism and maintenance of ecological balance.
