SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND THE TRANSITION TO A GREEN ECONOMY IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL ECONOMIC TRENDS

This article explores modern trends in sustainable economic development with a focus on the green economy
transition in Uzbekistan. The study analyzes international practices and strategies for shifting to a low-carbon growth
model, as well as evaluates the current state and prospects of renewable energy in the country. Particular attention is
paid to green finance tools, ESG principles, and institutional reforms essential for Uzbekistan's integration into global
sustainable development processes. Based on data from international reports and peer-reviewed publications indexed in
Scopus, practical measures are proposed to accelerate the green transition and foster a resilient economy
