Amid ongoing market reforms and digitalization, Uzbekistan’s economy is undergoing a profound structural
transformation, with the service sector emerging as a key driver of this process. Despite its growing economic significance,
the theoretical understanding of services remains limited and fragmented within the national academic discourse. This
study addresses the existing gap by developing a comprehensive theoretical framework for analyzing services in the
context of Uzbekistan’s economic transition
