This study develops an institutional model for ensuring the transparency and accountability of
artificial intelligence algorithms in e-commerce platforms. The research examines the relationship between
algorithmic transparency, institutional oversight, digital trust and e-commerce efficiency. The proposed model
shows that AI governance affects economic performance not only through technological efficiency, but also
through regulatory compliance, explainability and user trust
