Аннотация

This article analyzes the volume, structure, and role of agricultural production in ensuring food
security through regional specialization. Using the FAO methodology and 2023 statistical data, the study
identifies key indicators of food security and highlights the importance of balanced food consumption and
sufficient food reserves. The results reveal distinct patterns of regional specialization: the Fergana Valley
specializes in vegetable and fruit production, while the southern regions demonstrate strong potential in
livestock and forage production. Correlation (r = 0.78) and regression (R² = 0.61) analyses confirm a strong
positive relationship between infrastructure development and food security. The findings indicate that further
improvement of storage facilities, logistics systems, and agricultural infrastructure can significantly strengthen
regional food security and support sustainable agricultural development
