Аннотация

As the capital and largest city of Uzbekistan, Tashkent is an important part of the economy. The economy of
Tashkent is developing on the basis of financial resources, transport infrastructure, industrial and service sectors, spiritual
and political centers, and tourism potential, which are large compared to other regions of the country. The article
describes the economy of Tashkent city and several of its macroeconomic indicators.
