A local perspective on sustainable supply chain management in Uzbekistan.

Аннотация

This study examines sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) by merging global frameworks with local
perspectives to identify effective strategies for embedding sustainability into conventional SCM models. The research
highlights the significance of green supply chain management, circular economy principles, and digital transformation
in reducing environmental impact while improving operational efficiency. It also critically assesses key challenges,
including technological adoption barriers, infrastructural constraints, and policy misalignment. The study offers actionable
recommendations to support Uzbek industries in their transition toward sustainable practices.
