Аннотация

This article analyzes current issues, regional practices, and global approaches to ensuring environmental
sustainability in tourism. The study examines the factors that are important for sustainable tourism development – rational
use of resources, environmental protection, participation of local communities, and the role of government policy. It
also examines effective mechanisms for managing sustainable tourism based on the experience of different countries.
The conclusions of the article include practical recommendations aimed at creating a model of tourism that reduces the
ecological footprint, is socially responsible, and is economically sustainable
