Аннотация

This scientific article, prepared as part of a dissertation study, is devoted to the analysis of the digital
transformation of economic activity in agriculture. The research is based on the review of scientific works, statistical data,
regulatory legal frameworks, and the results of the author’s survey conducted among peasant (farm) households and
rural individual entrepreneurs. Particular attention is paid to the systematization of factors that determine the specifics
of launching the digital transformation process in agriculture, including information provision, infrastructural aspects, the
level of digital maturity of producers, and the development of the industry’s innovation system. The analysis of modern
studies shows that the use of IT solutions in the production process has significant advantages compared to traditional
farming: it increases labor productivity, reduces production costs, and enhances competitiveness. However, insufficient
expertise in IT applications, limited financial opportunities, and lack of qualified personnel remain the main obstacles to
digital development in agriculture. The article also reveals the dependence of the speed of introducing IT solutions on
production volumes and highlights the link between digitalization and the effective development of agribusiness. Four
levels of digitalization are identified: digital governance, digital economy, data-driven economy, and digital communication
