The article examines the current state and global trends in the development of the digital economy, emphasizing
its role as a key driver of sustainable growth and competitiveness in the modern world. Particular attention is given to
the transformation processes taking place in Uzbekistan, where digital technologies are being actively introduced into
various sectors of the economy. The study highlights international experiences and best practices while proposing specific
measures aimed at strengthening the national digital ecosystem. These include the development of information and
communication technologies, the expansion of e-commerce, and the integration of the Internet of Things into industrial
and social spheres
