Аннотация

The article examines the interrelation between sustainable tourism development and biodiversity protection
in Uzbekistan within the framework of UNESCO World Heritage. It explores how cultural and natural heritage sites,
recognized by UNESCO, contribute to the promotion of ecotourism and the preservation of unique ecosystems. The
study analyzes challenges such as balancing economic benefits from tourism with the need to protect fragile biodiversity,
managing visitor flows, and ensuring community participation. Special attention is given to the role of state policies,
international cooperation, and local initiatives in fostering sustainable tourism practices that support both cultural heritage
and environmental conservation.
