Ushbu maqolada mintaqaviy iqtisodiy o‘sishni baholashda qo‘llaniladigan ekonometrik va geostatistik
usullar nazariy-metodologik jihatdan tahlil qilingan. Xususan, fazoviy avtokorrelyatsiya tahlili, Moran I indeksi, kriging
interpolyatsiyasi hamda fazoviy avtoregressiv modellar (SAR, SEM, SDM) ning ilmiy asoslari va ularni Surxondaryo
viloyatiga qo‘llash imkoniyatlari o‘rganildi. Tadqiqotda O‘zbekiston Respublikasi Statistika qo‘mitasining rasmiy ma’lumotlari
hamda yetakchi xalqaro tashkilotlar hisobotlari asosida hududning iqtisodiy rivojlanish xususiyatlari kompleks tahlil qilindi.
Natijalar fazoviy ekonometrik yondashuvning an’anaviy OLS regressiyasiga nisbatan yuqori analitik imkoniyatlarga ega
ekanligini ko‘rsatdi. Tadqiqot natijalari mintaqaviy iqtisodiy siyosatni shakllantirish va hududiy rejalashtirish amaliyotini
takomillashtirishda muhim amaliy ahamiyat kasb etadi
