##article.abstract##

The article is devoted to the issue of introducing new approaches based on emotional intelligence in higher
education institutions. The necessity of implementing emotional intelligence in higher education is substantiated. The
interdisciplinary nature of emotional intelligence is revealed. The theoretical and practical foundations of emotional
intelligence are explored. The benefits of integrating emotional intelligence into higher education institutions are
highlighted. Specific directions for the application of emotional intelligence are proposed for students, teachers, and
institutions themselves.The use of analysis and synthesis methods has made it possible to comprehensively explore the
topic of the article.
