The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the landscape of work, posing both
challenges and opportunities for human capital development. This paper explores the intersection between human capital
and AI within the framework of the future of work. Using a qualitative analysis of recent literature, expert interviews,
and international case studies, we examine how AI is reshaping skills demand, workforce strategies, and educational
paradigms. The results highlight the necessity for strategic investments in upskilling, reskilling, and lifelong learning to
ensure human capital remains relevant and empowered in an AI-driven economy. The discussion proposes an integrated
policy and institutional approach to balancing technological progress with human-centered development.
